DIVE
Premiered Oct 20th-24th, 2021 in Squibb Park, Washington Hall Park, and Central Park (NYC)
DIVE is a live performance of dance and music brought together to create a fervent experience of connectivity. Together six performers dive into the potential of the collective and physical research of emotions in performances occurring in shifting outdoor NYC locations. Accessing our raw and essential emotions, we cultivate known and mysterious feelings of excitement, rage, hope, grief and pleasure in our bodies. The unfurling of these physical experiences build a world filled with interconnection we strive to expand and share.
Nicole Mannarino in collaboration with Donna Costello (Performer), Sam Kulik (Performer), Nicole Patrick (Performer), Nola Sporn Smith (Performer/Costume Design), Molly Ross (Costume Design), and Laura Witsken (Performer/Administration)
DIVE was supported by the City Artist Corps Grants program, presented by The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), with support from the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) as well as Queens Theatre.
